Ouachita Multi-Purpose Community Action Program Launches New Website

OUACHITA MULTI-PURPOSE COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM, INC, August 21, 2023. After many months of hard work and dedication from our team and Carlfred Giles, Digital Strategist at WordPress Maven, we are pleased to announce the launch of our updated website! The Ouachita Multi-Purpose Community Action Program is a anti-poverty agency in Monroe, Louisiana that is passionate about serving the community is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website at www.omcapi.org.

Our primary goal during the redesign process was to create a more valuable, user-centric and responsive website across all platforms and devices. Specifically, we wanted to focus on making it easier for our users to learn and locate valuable information about our services and programs for their situation not only at their desk but on mobile devices. The result is a site that helps engage with new users and provides their next steps. The site is easy to manage and will be integrated into our database. The site now features a cleaner look and feel, blog, information about making a connection, participant forms, donations, and events calendar and adding more. It will make keeping track of events easier and will give the user a convenient and easy way to access information, services and success stories.

The mission of The Ouachita Multi-Purpose Community Action Program (OMCAP, Inc) serves as an anti-poverty agency on behalf of Federal, State, and Local government, to provide assistance to citizens of Ouachita Parish, working with a network of Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and other neighborhood-based organizations to reduce poverty, revitalize communities and empower families and individuals to become economically stable.
